Scrappin Outback : Wave Rock Retreat : Final Sneak Peek

Just to tease you all a little more - here is the final sneak peek for the "Off the page" class at the upcoming Scrappin Outback Wave Rock Retreat....

The theme of this project is easily adaptable to suit your own style and purpose. Boy, girl, decorative, useful - you choose and make it your own. It will be alot of fun and I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

I am preparing to shoot a wedding tomorrow with a bridal party of 12! Looking forward to it very much and I'm sure D&J are too.

Enjoy your weekend and hopefully I will be back early next week with some photography tips for you.

Creative Day!

Today I finished off two projects, I can't remember the last time I did that!

The first one has been sitting on my desk for a while now, well the covers have!
I love photos in B&W so I decided to make up a simple 6x4 album with just Black and White photos for 2007.
The covers are made from Template Plastic and I have put a Hambly Screen Prints (Vintage Plaid) behind them just to give it another dimension.

The cover is pretty simple with fuzzy rub-ons,
chipboard Alphabets and stickers.
The pages are simply the 6x4 photos with the corners rounded off, this way I can add some more as I go.
I have also added some rub-ons to the photos.
Pretty easy, I think I will be making another one for 2008 that I can add to throughout the year.

My other project today was a Kaiser wooden Christmas Tree as my table decoration. Now you might be wondering why I chose browns/blues/silver??? Well I have only recently bought a new table cloth and place mats for our outdoor table which are a chocolate brown and I wanted to use these on Christmas Day! I'm pretty happy with the outcome except if you are going to do one of these and cover it with papers, you might need to check as you go that the two pieces fit together again...the extra layers of papers make it a very tight fit.
My new Quickutz alphabet dies arrived today so I am going to play with those tonight.
I have some more projects to get done tomorrow too in amongst some housework.
Happy Hump Day everyone!
